I was born in the body of Samuel Speerstra, 1942, in Oregon. Graduating from Reed College in 1965, I met Bhaktivedanta Swami in San Francisco in January 1967 and became his disciple Shyamasundar Das. Over the next 58 years I helped Prabhupada spread Krishna consciousness all over the world. During that time also I discovered and developed precious gem and gold mines on almost every continent. I now live near Santa Cruz, California.
