Event Team Initial Expression of Interest
Thank you for your interest in supporting the 24th Annual New Living Expo, taking place April 16–18, 2027 at the Marin Center in San Rafael, California. Set-up begins on 15 April.
This form helps us understand your availability, preferred areas of support and relevant experience. It is an initial expression of interest only and does not guarantee a position. Roles, shifts, responsibilities, and final appointments will be confirmed following review.
All event staff will receive complimentary access to the full three-day conference, two guest passes for friends and family valid throughout the event, no charge access to one paid workshop

Set Up, Breakdown, Door Moditor, Greeter, and Coat Check
Typical shift: approximately 5 hours
Roles, shifts, orientation and training arrangements will be confirmed separately. Required fields are marked with an asterisk.
Set Up
Event team members help with setting up the bookstore, decorating the hall, arranging tables and chairs, transporting items to booths, and other tasks. Event team members should be able to lift 40 lbs., be on your feet for 4 hours.
Breakdown
Event team members help with breaking down and packing up items after the close of the show on Sunday evening. This is a very physical job which requires strength and mobility to dismantle booth fixtures, tables.
Greeter
Event team members provide a friendly greeting to attendees, help with line control, and assist ticket takers.
Coat Check
Event team members help with checking coats and items from attendees, event team members, and speakers. Provide event information to attendees.
