Dr. Diane Hennacy Powell is a Johns Hopkins–trained neuropsychiatrist, psychotherapist, and author whose work explores the relationship between the brain and consciousness. A former Harvard Medical School faculty member, she has more than four decades of clinical experience and has worked with people affected by trauma and neurodiversity.

Dr. Powell is the author of The ESP Enigma: A Scientific Case for Psychic Phenomena. Her research investigates reports of telepathy, precognition, and other unusual experiences, particularly among autistic children. That work helped inspire The Telepathy Tapes, bringing wider attention to questions about communication and the nature of consciousness.
