Bruce H. Lipton, PhD, is a cell biologist, bestselling author, and international speaker whose work explores the relationships between biology, belief, and personal transformation. He is the author of The Biology of Belief and The Honeymoon Effect, and co-author with Steve Bhaerman of Spontaneous Evolution.

Lipton earned his doctorate in developmental cell biology at the University of Virginia and joined the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine’s Department of Anatomy in 1973. His early research included studies of muscular dystrophy and cloned human stem cells. He later conducted research at Stanford University’s School of Medicine.

Today, Lipton presents lectures and workshops for audiences around the world, sharing his perspectives on the interplay of science, consciousness, and spirituality. He received the Goi Peace Award in 2009.
