Harlan Emil Gruber, inspired by the work of Buckminster Fuller and Paolo Soleri, received a BFA in Environmental Design from Parsons School of Design in 1985. He produces a wide variety of art and design projects, culminating in the large-scale interactive Portal installations featured at Burning Man since 2004 that have been exhibited at events in the US and around the world. Through the use of sacred geometry, colors and sound vibrations, the Portals are intended to facilitate an evolution of consciousness in participants. His Portal to the New Earth website, book and YouTube channel are intended to awaken humanity to create ecologically integrated environments for the benefit of all life and the Earth.
