New Living Expo

Mark Kohl’s journey into consciousness work did not begin in theory — it began in collapse.

After decades as a celebrated cinematographer immersed in high-pressure creative success, Mark faced a profound breakdown marked by depression, addiction, and a loss of identity that conventional approaches failed to resolve. What followed was not a return to his former life, but the emergence of a deeper inquiry into healing, awareness, and self-reconstruction.

Through years of personal recovery and research spanning sound, fungal intelligence, and ancient wisdom traditions, Mark developed what he calls the Frequency Method — an exploration of how specific vibrational environments may influence biological and psychological integration. This work became the foundation of the broader Frequency Project, a living ecosystem that includes immersive ceremonial spaces, consciousness-focused storytelling, and educational platforms devoted to nervous-system repair and identity integration.

Drawing from Kundalini practice, Buddhism, Stoicism, and lived recovery, Mark shares insights not as a theorist, but as a guide shaped by experience. His work sits at the intersection of science, story, and embodied wisdom — offering a grounded perspective on how humans can reconnect with themselves in an increasingly fragmented world.positive global storytelling, mystical-meets-scientific education, and original programming designed to elevate rather than numb.
