Dr. Beverly Rubik earned her Ph.D. in biophysics at the University of California at Berkeley. Since then, she has published over 90 scientific papers and 2 books. From 1992-1994, she served as one of 18 advisors selected by Congress to the original Office of Alternative Medicine at the US National Institutes of Health. In 1997 Dr. Rubik founded and became president of the Institute for Frontier Science, a 501c3 nonprofit laboratory in Emeryville, California. She is a leading scientist internationally known for her research that goes beyond the mainstream and challenges the dominant biomedical paradigm. She serves on the editorial boards of several integrative health journals including Journal of Integrative and Complementary Medicine. Dr. Rubik has served as a college professor at California Institute for Human Science and Saybrook University, where she taught courses in mind-body medicine.
