Making Power Choices and Creative Decisions – How to Navigate in Times of Chaos and Possibility | Sunday April 29 | 5-9pm | Room 6 | 4hr – Gen Adm $99 / VIP $119
Everyone wants to believe they have some measure of influence over the events in their lives. But while we can try to amass external resources that help us feel safe and protected from harm, nothing is as powerful, reliable, and truly effective in times of chaos or difficulty as trusting our own guidance, knowing how to make a clear decision and following through with it, and being able to confront our fears and illusions.
In her talk, Caroline Myss applies the wisdom and teachings of four great Christian mystics: Ignatius Loyola, Teresa of Avila, John of the Cross, and Saint Benedict. Each of these wise teachers developed their own methods of spiritual direction for their students, precisely because they realized that everyone requires guidance through the challenging passages in life. Each of us can benefit from instructions on how to make clear decisions, learning how to thread together the input from mind, heart, and soul in order to find deep clarity.
Caroline will provide instructions on developing personal spiritual practices that are aimed at refining self-esteem, pursuing inner knowledge, recognizing guidance, and understanding the nature of spiritual crises. As Caroline has often taught, spiritual depression is often misdiagnosed as psychological depression. A spiritual depression needs to be understood as a suffering within the soul of a person, and that individual requires counseling to guide him or her through that dark night. Today, the dark night of the soul is experienced by countless individuals.
Caroline Myss is a five-time New York Times best-selling author and internationally renowned speaker in the fields of human consciousness, spirituality and mysticism, health, energy medicine, and the science of medical intuition.
