Black
Elk has practiced the traditional and sacred knowledge
of the Earth People his entire life. An internationally
recognized authority on the traditions of Native Americans,
he brings the way of the Lakota people to audiences
around the world. Based on his visionary experiences,
Black Elk will share with you the sacred way of the
Earth People and the ceremonial teachings of the sacred
pipe and the stone people's lodge. He weaves the accumulated
knowledge of his lifetime into teaching the relevance
of this way of life to bring health and help to all
people of the Earth.
Black Elk is a traditional spiritual elder of the Lakota
nation who was raised on the Rosebud Reservation in
South Dakota in the traditional ways of his people.
He has been a native American representative to the
United Nations and was instrumental in the passage of
the American Indian Religious Freedom Act.
